Specialist / Line Manager at Financial Control & Budgeting Department

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor and review financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Perform daily and periodic financial controls to maintain integrity of financial data.
• Support preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports.
• Assist in reconciliation of accounts and resolution of discrepancies.
• Participate in budgeting processes, including preparation and monitoring.
• Review and verify invoices and expenses for compliance with policies and budget limits.
• Ensure timely and accurate tax declarations and regulatory reporting.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
• Identify and report financial risks and propose corrective actions.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure adherence to internal control procedures.
• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the department head or management.

Requirements:

• University Degree in Economics, Management, Finance, or related areas.
• For Specialist Position is required at least two years of banking experience, and for Line Manager position is required at least four years of banking experience.
• Proficiency in English language (Turkish language is an asset).
• Be analytical, pay attention to details.
• A high degree of tact and discretion, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Proficient knowledge of computer programs, especially MS Office.
• Ability to solve different problems.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
