Information Security Specialist (Data Loss Prevention)

The Information Security Department is seeking to hire an Information Security Specialist to join its Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Team. The selected candidate will support the protection of the Bank’s information assets through the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of data protection and information security controls.

The role involves monitoring potential data leakage events, investigating security alerts, supporting incident response activities, and contributing to compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and information security standards. The successful candidate will work closely with business and technical teams to strengthen the Bank's data protection capabilities and address emerging technology risks, including those associated with Artificial Intelligence (AI).

 

The candidate should meet the following requirements:

  • University degree in Computer Science, Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), Information Security/Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant professional experience, preferably within the banking, financial services, or information technology sector.
  • Good understanding of Data Loss Prevention (DLP), information protection, data classification, and information security fundamentals.
  • Good understanding of network environments, including LAN, WAN, WiFi, routers, switches, and related infrastructure.
  • Ability to analyse security events, system logs, user activities, and alerts using monitoring or security tools (SIEM).
  • Familiarity with information security policies, procedures, access management, incident management, and data protection controls.
  • Basic understanding of information security risk management, insider risk concepts, and the protection of sensitive information.
  • Basic knowledge of applicable data protection laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to identify, analyse, and escalate potential data leakage events, suspicious activities, and policy violations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage assigned tasks and deliver results within established deadlines.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, responsibility, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prepare documentation, reports, evidence files, and records for operational, compliance, and audit purposes.
  • Very good command of English, both written and spoken.


Advantages

  • Previous experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions, including monitoring, investigation, policy management, and data protection controls.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview, including Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Information Protection, Data Classification, Insider Risk Management, or related Microsoft security solutions.
  • Previous experience with SIEM platforms, log analysis, security event monitoring, and investigation of security alerts.
  • Certifications in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Cloud Security, Artificial Intelligence, or related areas, such as SC-400, SC-900, Security+, AI-900, AZ-900, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI technologies, including their security, privacy, and data protection implications.
